Ophthalmology 4.0: Interview with the President

The motto of the DOG 2018 is “Ophthalmology 4.0”. Congress President Prof. Dr. Nicole Eter explains why she has chosen this motto, what is new and what the participants can look forward to.

DOG international: Sessions in English

Sharing knowledge and experiences with leading international experts is one of the DOG’s priorities. Our English-language sessions offer the opportunity to share clinical best practices and research perspectives with colleagues from other countries.

Opening Ceremony and President’s speech

This year’s Opening Ceremony will take place in the former plenary hall of the German Bundestag where politicians used to discuss new laws. In this historical place the president Prof. Dr. Nicole Eter will hold her speech and introduce her motto “Ophthalmology 4.0” (in German language).

Charity concert: DOG in Concert

The concert is a traditional highlight of the DOG Congress and is performed each year by and for ophthalmologists. The evening’s performance will feature masterpieces from the classical music repertory.
